As we continue to monitor the daily Covid-19 situation with the Thunder Bay District Health Unit and the Ontario Soccer Association we would like to update and remind all our participants of our protocols. We would also like to provide possible next steps in the instance that the surges continue. Our priority is the safety and health of all our participants.
Our local situation will move from Green to Yellow as COVID-19 cases are rising across the province and within our community. As per our regulations (see chart) it does not change our soccer specific situation at PlexII, however, it does not prevent us from adding our own additional protocols to the existing ones to ensure thee safety of our participants and families.
Please continue to review the protocols that have been and continue to be in effect at this time. We have identified some slight modifications that are highlighted in RED.
We continue to be proactive to be ready in a situation where cases continue to rise. The following protocols could be considered as additions if needed (see right). If they are added we will provide the effective date that additional protocols could start.
At this time, we want to thank all our participants, parents, and patrons of the facility for being supportive and diligent as we get through this pandemic. Please continue the following to ensure that together we keep everyone safe.
1. Stay home if sick. Get tested if you have symptoms or think you were exposed.
2. Practice physical distancing. Keep 2 metres apart.
3. Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer.
4. Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or elbow.
5. Clean and disinfect frequently touch surfaces.
6. Wear a mask when you can't physically distance or when you are in public.
Thank you
Thunder Bay Chill
President
