We are happy to announce that the Thunder Bay Chill in consultation with its sport partners Canada Soccer, the Canadian Sport Institute Ontario, Ontario Soccer Association, and the Public Health agency have moved into Phase 2 of our Return to Play process.
Please note that the Recreational program will follow similar format to our annual Spring League program. Players will be put into teams and provided a game jersey. Sessions will follow a 10 minute skill development session followed by a 40 minute game. Sessions will run on Tuesday's between 5:00pm - 9:00pm with the younger ages starting the earliest. Age groups will be offered for U6 Co-ed, U8 Co-ed, U11 Male, U11 Female, U14 Male, and U14 Female.
The Competitive Program will follow a similar format but will run 3 times a week. Two games and one training session. Players will be put into teams based on levels and ages. Sessions will run for 50 minuets on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday between 5:00pm - 9:00pm with the younger ages starting the earliest.
The Province of Ontario and Health Agency must approve the final phase of re-opening, before we can run a program in Phase 3 allowing for games against other clubs.
