The Thunder Bay Chill has announced their 2010 packages as they prepare to enter their 11th year in the United Soccer Leagues. After 3 straight play-off appearances, 2 Heartland Division Championships, and the 2008 PDL North American title, our team is ready to continue its success for another decade.
The Thunder Bay Chill Select Males had their championship goals cut short on Sunday by the North Mississauga Panthers. The Panthers defeated the Selects 2-0 in the semi-finals of the 2010 Ontario Indoor Cup taking place at the Ontario Soccer Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.
With the Thunder Bay Chill well on their way to preparing for their 11th season, the United Soccer Leagues (USL) released the 2010 Premier Development League (PDL) schedules for the Central and Southern Conferences this week.
It was a mixed weekend of results for the teams of the Thunder Bay Chill Soccer Club. The Elite Male and Female’s gaining some much needed experience in a tough field, and the U18 Chill Reserve Male’s falling one step (or shot) short of another Ontario Cup Gold Medal.
Chill Elite Girls defeat Lakehead Express in Regional Playdown
The Thunder Bay Chill Elite Girls defeated the Lakehead Express U13 Girls 1-0 in a regional match up tonight at the Thunder Bay Sportsdome. The Chill Elite’s only goal came from Ashlyn Cook in the 15th minute of the game. Anna Maclean was in net to record the shutout.
Stuart Neely - TFC Academy Coach & 1st Team Staff Coach
It was a weekend of workshops and player development for Thunder Bay Chill Reserve Players and Coaches. The weekend host was Stuart Neely, Academy Manager and 1st team staff coach of the Toronto FC professional soccer club.
The Thunder Bay Chill U17 Male Reserves have made Thunder Bay Soccer history Sunday, as they become the first team from this region to ever win the Ontario Cup Outdoor Championships.
