The Thunder Bay Chill Educational Program was developed in 2001 in order to fulfill our mission of providing a role model for the youth of our community as well as reaching out and bringing together diverse gruops in our large Northwest region. The program has grown and transcended sinces its inception to to include a partnership with the THunder Bay District Health Unit and has developed into the "Get Active with the Chill Challenge".

The "Get Active with the Chill Challenge" is a comprehensive program for students and educators of grades 4-8. It includes a two week challenge complete with lesson plans, log sheets, prize and soccer clinics delivered by our own Thunder Bay Chill players. The culminating activity of the "Challenge" is a soccer game on at the new Chapples Park Field. The game provides an opportunity for students to view not only a high-caliber game but also the world’s most beautiful sport. Your students will not want to miss out on the most dynamic educational experience to take place in the great Northwest- "Get Active with the Chill Challenge"
Each year we visit many students and according to the District Health Unit Questionnaires, the program was well received. Our program involves a small fee for each student but no extra costs to the school board or any additional stress to the teachers. Sign up today! Call us at 623-5911 for more information.
