TICKET SALES EXECUTIVE
OVERVIEW
The Thunder Bay Chill seeks an individual who will be primarily responsible for selling seasons, individual, and group tickets via telemarketing, electronic mail, fax and other communication means. This individual will aslo service accounts, work all regular season games performorning various duties ranging from fan services, operations to marketing activation. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic and be aggressive, competitive, professional, mature, self-starting and committed to the Chill sports industry. The individual must demonstrate previous involvement in a wide range of activities or clubs. Strong communication skills are a necessity.
DESCRIPTION
Generate ticket sales revenue with an assigned goal
- Sell ticket packages including season tickets, group and individual tickets
- E-mails and direct follow-up with information on programs
- Follow-up phone calls that may include special offers
- Assisting with game day activities including on-field events
- Use proactive tactics to create opportunities for new and existing customers
QUALIFICATIONS
- University/College degree or diploma preferred or working towards it
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications including Word and Excel
- Prior Sales experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- Superior time management and presentation skills
- Attentive to detail and organization
- Bilingual is an additional bonus
- Must have valid Ontario drivers license and obtain a vehicle

- Competitive base salary based on experience and qualifications
- New business and renewal commission structure
